A Sound Tribute to Iceland in Loving Memory of Guðbjörg Pálsdóttir
A portion of the proceeds will be donated in her honor to support the maintenance and renovation of the magnificent Klais organ, the heart of Hallgrímskirkja’s musical life.
Inspired by the spirit and beauty of my former home, Iceland, we gather on Iceland’s Independence Day for an evening of listening, sound, and inner stillness.
This offering is held in loving memory of my sister-in-law, Guðbjörg Pálsdóttir— a devoted nurse whose pioneering work in wound care helped shape and support the healing of countless lives, and whose voice and spirit also lived through her church choir and community.
Together, we soften stress and return to the inner fire and light that remain within us, even through loss.
